Timeless Wonder

North Carolina State Parks Centennial Campaign

Client: North Carolina State Parks
Role: Senior Art Director

Since 1916 the North Carolina State Parks have been a place of respite, of wonder, and of shared experiences. For their 100 year anniversary, the NC State Parks department wanted to celebrate this history and remind people that their next adventure awaits.

Timeless Wonder campaign

From a summer swim at the Eno, to a marriage proposal on Hanging Rock, or a race down the dunes at Jockey’s Ridge, there are few things that connect with us at any age like spending time in nature. For the Parks centennial, we wanted to capture that feeling of timeless wonder shared across generations and celebrate the memories yet to be made.

Branding the Centennial

In collaboration with our friends at the parks department, our team went through the process of developing an updated brand identity for the Centennial celebration. With increased competition in the NC tourism space, we needed to balance the legacy of the parks with a direction that felt contemporary and aspirational to our audience.
